Project Description
• Created the end-to-end user experience strategy and user interface design to the web and mobile apps for “Cisco Patient Connect” solution, instituting a user-centered design to connect patients, care teams, hospital services, and friends and family everywhere, as well as reach members of the care team at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
• Designed the user interface for “Cisco Patient Connect” using video communications and screen-sharing across patient room TVs and caregivers’ personal mobile devices, enabling content delivery automation, patient education, and clinical workflows from the strategic design to execution. Personalized content and created the application interface design for services such as patient admissions, progress tracking, educational videos, TV guide, pain survey, patient requests, food ordering, and discharge instructions.
• Regularly engaged with customers and business stakeholders through interviews and usability testing, creating multiple design selections, and collecting feedback to quickly turn around new design options, always working directly with developers to ensure the successful implementation of the UX / UI design.
• Responsible for creating concept designs, wireframes and prototypes such as: information architecture, flow chart diagrams and high fidelity visual interfaces, sharing creative and development concepts with developers, marketing, and engineering teams to establish identity and assure consistent branding.
